Jim taught Nantucket elementary and middle school students for 30 years. He is the author of six novels—three for adults and three for middle-grade readers. Jim has been a longtime judge for the Nantucket Book Foundation's Young Writer Award and has been a close partner to NBF and our Nantucket school programming.
