Sara DiVello (she/her/hers) is an author (https://www.saradivello.com/), interviewer, reader, and passionate advocate for books. Her latest book, Broadway Butterfly: A Thriller, was an Entertainment Weekly Most Anticipated Book, CBS New York Book Club Pick, featured in Vanity Fair, and earned starred reviews from Booklist and Library Journal.

Sara joined the board in 2024 and is honored to co-chair the 2025 book festival with Mary Haft. In her prior corporate career, she spent 15 years building and running PR and marketing programs for large, international companies. She now speaks and teaches nationally on the topics of branding, social media, and publicity for authors, and is the creator/host of Mystery and Thriller Mavens (https://www.mysteryandthrillermavens.com/), a popular author interview series and interactive Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/mysteryandthrillermavens). In that role, she has interviewed over 400 authors, ranging from the bestselling and world-renowned to the buzziest debuts.

Sara joined the staff of the International Thriller Writers association in 2022, where she is the director of social media strategy and branding, and hosts all the official on-site interviews at ThrillerFest. Sara also serves on the board of the Friends of the South End Library, where she curates and hosts the author series. In her spare time, Sara loves to teach yoga, cook (and eat!), garden, and go for leisurely walks with her husband and their beloved rescue mutt, Pelu.
